Strategic Guidance for the Solent, Revised Nature Conservation Chapter 2003 |

The Nature Conservation Chapter is the first of the chapters in the Strategic Guidance to be reviewed and updated. This has been done in association with English Nature, HCC Environment Department, IOW Council Environment Department, HWT, RSPB and SEMS.
The chapter's aim remains the same whilst its objectives have been revised. The actions of the chapter have also been reviewed to reflect what has occurred and what still needs to be done in the Solent.
Please be reminded that the Strategic Guidance for the Solent should be referred to when writing policies, strategies or other documents to ensure members' objectives remain in line with the common aspirations for the Solent.
