| 4. Terms of reference | Duties and powers as laid down in the 1966 Sea Fisheries
Regulation Act. The Committee is responsible for managing and policing the
inshore fisheries out to 6 miles from baselines and has byelaw making powers.

| 6. Geographical Area | Extends 6 nautical miles to the fisheries limit. Eastern extent
is Dungeness point and the western extent is the coastguard station on Hayling
